
Ever since I was a boy I was in the kitchen learning my mom's and grandmother's delcious secrets. I was never spared the sledghammer, but my favorite tool has always been a good sharp knife. With it, I spent my frustrations on chopping fresh crisp vegetables, fileting buttery marbled meats, and slicing thick soft rounds of dough to make dishes that melt away all of my worries. It didn't take long for me to realize that my cooking had a similar effect on other people, and just like that, I inherited the generational love language of cooking and serving.
